Mahindra and Mahindra introduced a new model of Mahindra Thar on 2nd October 2020 and the SUV has since received an amazing response with 3,152 units sold in January alone as compared to 2,670 units in December last year.
This means the SUV grew by 18% in one month. The Mahindra Thar starts Rs.12.50 lakh per unit and goes up to Rs.14.15 lakh. The car is in high demand and has a waiting period of nine months in some cities. It is as of now available in seven shades including Aquamarine and Mystic Copper. Three new shades namely White, Olive and Silver are being planned to be added soon.
Mahindra Thar is also going to update its petrol engine to a 180 mStallion that is more powerful than its current 150 bhp engines.
