Mahira Khan breaks silence on her pregnancy rumours, clarifies her Netflix series status

Pakistani actor Mahira Khan finally responded to reports that she is pregnant. Mahira denied the reports in an interview with The Express Tribune. The rumour came following a now-deleted Reddit post claiming she was pregnant. The post further stated that the actress had moved away from Netflix’s Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo and another yet-to-be-titled project.

According to the report, the actress said, “It’s not true that I’m pregnant. And I haven’t left the Netflix series.”

As per India Today, the Reddit post read, “So, I got this news from a close source that she opted out of the esteemed Netflix project alongside a big film as she’s expecting her second child somewhere in August or September.”

It further reads, “An announcement could be made soon or not if she chooses to announce it after birth but as she’s a big celeb and can’t keep it lowkey for long, I personally feel that she will announce.”

Last year, Mahira tied the knot with Salim Karim, her longtime boyfriend. She was previously married to Ali Askari in 2007. They welcomed a son in 2009. The couple split in 2015.

Meanwhile, Mahira appeared in several Pakistani films and series, including Bol, Bin Roye, and Manto among others. In 2017, she featured with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees.
