Actor and entrepreneur Malaika Arora has once again addressed the attention surrounding her personal life, acknowledging that her relationships have long been a subject of public discussion. Appearing on The Namrata Zakaria Show on YouTube, Malaika spoke openly about the chatter following her breakup with Arjun Kapoor and the recurring rumours linking her to a “mystery man.”
Reflecting on her past relationship, Malaika described Arjun as an important and integral part of her life, while making it clear that she prefers not to dwell publicly on either her past or future. She noted that her personal relationships have already been extensively discussed and dissected, turning her life into what she described as a constant media feeding ground. Addressing recent speculation sparked by her being spotted with different people, Malaika said the attention has reached a point where it no longer surprises her.
According to her, stepping out with anyone whether a close friend, a colleague, or even a family acquaintance often leads to instant assumptions. She added that she has consciously chosen not to fuel such chatter, as it serves no real purpose.
Sharing a lighter moment, Malaika recalled how even her mother now reacts with humour to the frequent rumours, often calling her to ask about the latest name being discussed. The actor said the situation has become almost laughable over time.
Malaika’s personal life has remained in the public eye for decades. She was previously married to actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, with whom she shares a son, Arhaan. The couple divorced in 2017 after nearly two decades together. Malaika later began dating Arjun Kapoor in 2016, and their separation became evident only recently after several years together.
