Actress Malvi Malhotra has found closure after a four-year legal struggle following a traumatic incident in 2020. Malhotra had been attacked and stabbed by producer Yogesh Singh for allegedly rejecting his marriage proposal. After a lengthy trial, the court found Singh guilty and sentenced him to three years of rigorous imprisonment, providing some relief to the actress.
After the verdict, Malhotra expressed that “a sense of relief was felt” after fighting for justice for so long. She explained how the experience left her with “mental trauma” that weighed more heavily than her physical injuries.
She shared that for a long time, a feeling of being constantly followed and chased lingered, but support from her family, especially her father, gave her strength. Her father had reportedly told her that while physical injuries would heal with time, she should never live in fear. He also encouraged her to take up self-defense, which helped her rebuild her confidence.
Malhotra later took to social media to express her gratitude after winning the case. She penned a note that read, “The nine nights symbolize the triumph of justice and truth… Thank you Mataji for giving me justice and making me won my case.”
On the work front, Malvi Malhotra recently made her Telugu film debut in Tiragabadara Saami alongside Raj Tarun, continuing to build her career in the Indian film industry.
