Manoj Bajpayee overwhelmed by the response for Family man season 2

Manoj Bajpayee expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response to The Family Man S2.

The second season of The Family Man was one of the most anticipated season of any Indian web series. The second season was released on the midnight of 4th June, Friday and within 3 days of the release the love and appreciation received from the audiences is immense. The lead actor, Manoj Bajpayee posts on his Instagram handle, “Overwhelmed and grateful!!!!🙏❤️❤️”

The Family Man series is about a man (Shrikant Tiwari) working in TASC department whose main purpose is to curb any anti-national or terrorist activities happening in India. At the same time, he is dealing with his family problems. His family consists of his wife and two children and all the problems he is facing is pretty much common for every family man. This series shows two different universes and both of them are poles apart. Viewers love this contradiction.

Amazon Prime is well known for it’s varied choices for the content. It has blockbuster crime series like Mirzapur and Paatal lok and at the same time it gives us light content series like Bandish Bandits and Made in Heaven. Although Amazon Prime was recently in to news for the controversies surrounding its web series- Tandav. Similarly, The Family Man Season 2 trailer was in controversy for portraying Eelam Tamilians as terrorists. Despite all this, this season is very well received by the lay man as well as the critics.

This weekend, people were seen binge watching the second season and tweeting about the same. The creators of this show, Raj and DK are praised by the critics for their excellent direction. The series is backed with very fine and talented actors like Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, Darshan Kumar and many others. Most influential among them was the character of Raji played by Samantha Akkineni.
