Market Closing: Sensex Nifty end in red territory, dragged by Banks and IT stocks

On Thursday, benchmark indices closed red with Nifty at 12,771.70 showing a 1.29% decline. Sensex dropping with 1.31% at 43,599.96. Sensex devalued 580 points, Nifty reduced down to 166 points. Top gainers include Power Grid Corp, ITC and Tata Steel. Whereas, SBI, Coal India and Axis Bank ended on the losers side at closing. Around 732 shares advanced and 946 declined in NSE.
