Arsenal officially confirms the return of the two Real Madrid players namely, Martin Odegaard and Dani Ceballos to return to their parent club who were on loan to the Premier League club with the departure of veteran defender David Luis. The Gunners announced the release of players for the 2020/2021 list on their official site wishing them the best for their future.

Odegaard is expected to play for Real Madrid and stay in the club after he returns, but it depends on their newly announced manager Carlo Ancelotti, who returned to The Whites after the Frenchman Zidane had resigned as a coach. The 22-year-old was on loan and spent his second half of this season at the club. His contract now has come to an end this month at Arsenal. The Norway midfielder will leave the club for Madrid when his loan deal ceases at the end of June along with Ceballos.
The Spanish attacking midfielder Ceballos was signed by Madrid in 2017, and after two years at the club, he was picked by an English club on loan.
“I know Carlo Ancelotti and I had a good relationship when he was at Real Madrid before in the first time. I have no idea about his opinion what he thinks”, said Odegaard through RM Live.
“The hope and the feeling that this could be a good place for him”, said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on Odegaard after the final Premier League game of the season.
The midfielder was signed by the Los Blancos and became the youngest player to represent the club in January 2015, reserved for their B team, Real Madrid Castilla but trained with the first team often.
