Massive Explosion at CRPF School in Delhi; No Casualties Reported

A massive explosion rocked the vicinity of the CRPF school in Delhi’s Rohini area early this morning, causing damage but fortunately no casualties. The blast occurred near the school in Prashant Vihar at 7:47 a.m., damaging a section of the school’s wall and shattering nearby windows.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud noise followed by a cloud of smoke. A local resident recorded the aftermath, stating, “I heard a loud sound and saw smoke billowing from near the school. The police and ambulance arrived shortly after.”

The Delhi Police Special Cell and forensic teams have reached the scene and are actively investigating the cause. According to senior police officer Amit Goel, no suspicious material has been found yet, though an underground sewage line is being examined as a potential source of the explosion.

In their statement, the police confirmed that the blast had damaged cars and signboards in the area but emphasized that no injuries had been reported. “Crime teams, FSL experts, and a bomb disposal squad are at the scene, and the area has been cordoned off for further investigation,” the statement added.

Sources suggest that a crude bomb may have caused the blast, and the National Security Guard has been notified, with a team possibly set to inspect the site later today. Investigation into the exact cause continues.
