MEA: India, China will soon hold 10th round of talks

India and China will hold a 10th round of Corps Commander-level talks according to the Ministry of External  Affairs (MEA). The talks are meant to further the de-escalation process.

Both countries last week had accepted a speedy disengagement of their troops decided to move forward with their “effective efforts” to regulate the tensions in Eastern Ladakh in their ninth round of talks. When asked about the negotiations at the border stand-off, MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said, “It was said that both sides agreed to follow the important consensus of the leaders of the respective countries and maintain the momentum of talks.”

He also acknowledged the need to hold another round of talks last week. The 10th round of talks will be at the Corps-Commander level.
