Barcelona’s forward, Lionel Messi was slapped with a penalty of 600 euros for lifting his red and burgundy jersey to pay tribute to the late Deigo Maradona. The incident happened in Sunday’s Barcelona vs Osasuna, winning with a 4-0 scoreboard. The Argentine captain left his fans amazed with revealing the Newell’s Old Boys shirt belonging to Maradona and blew a kiss upward. The Spanish soccer competition committee fined him for violating Article 93 of the disciplinary code for removing t-shirt. Barcelona was charged with 180 euros.
