Milkha Singh’s condition improves, under a closely monitored by Doctors

Legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the PGIMER hospital and has been observed in better conditions on Saturday as per the statement from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) hospital. He is also being monitored very closely by them.

The hospital’s statement says that the Flying Sikh (Milkha Singh) was being unwell due to COVID-19 and has been admitted in ICU of NHE block of PGIMER since the 3rd of June, 2021. As per the medical team, his condition has been observed better by a team of three doctors at PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute Of Medical Education and Research). The 90-year-old legend got admitted on Thursday to the hospital after his oxygen level flew down and was urgently being monitored by three doctors at the PGIMER.

The legendary golfer Jeev Milkha Singh brought notice to the development that Milkha Singh’s condition is now stable and is currently on oxygen in the ICU of PGIMER. A few days back, Jeev had received a call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi concerning Milkha Singh’s health. The Prime Minister further expressed his hope that the legend Milkha Singh recovers soon in order to bless and inspire athletes who will be taking part in Tokyo Olympics.
