India women’s cricket team skipper Mithali Raj once again achieved the top position of the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings, this is the ninth time she is number one among women’s batters since first occupying the spot more than 16 years ago.
Indian star batsman’s rise came after the India women’s three-match ODI series against England. However, India lost the series by 2-1, but the skipper had a great time in the middle as she scored recorded 206 runs from three innings at a stunning average of 103.
Along with Mithali, one more Indian women cricketer Smriti Mandhana is also shining bright in the latest ICC player rankings, The Indian left-handed opener has attained to a same position after slamming a fine 70 in the final match of their series against England. She is spotted on to her ninth position in the chart with a rating of 701.
Australian wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy and England’s Tammy Beaumont also jumped up a spot each to third and fourth rankings respectively.
