Montana Jordan shared plans about tying the knot with his fiancee, Jenna Weeks

Montana Jordan, best known for playing Georgie Cooper in Young Sheldon, is gearing up for a real-life wedding—but he’s making it clear that it’ll be nothing like his character’s marriage on the show! The actor recently opened up about his engagement to fiancée Jenna Weeks, who is also the mother of their first child.

Jordan, who played Georgie for seven seasons, announced his engagement to Weeks at the start of the new year with a heartfelt social media post. When asked in an interview with People Magazine if there was anything he’d take from Georgie’s marriage into his own, he didn’t hesitate to shut it down.

“None, because he’s always in trouble,” Jordan quipped. “He’s always in trouble with the wife, and I don’t like to be in trouble.”

His character’s chaotic but lovable dynamic with Mandy, played by Emily Osment, became so popular that CBS greenlit a spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, focusing entirely on their journey.

As for his real-life wedding plans? Jordan admitted he’s leaving most of it up to his fiancée. “That’s not my department. That’s her department,” he joked. “She’s doing great at it, and yeah, she’s been doing some planning, so it’ll happen.” His only priority? Making sure Jenna is happy. “I just want her to be happy. That’s what matters.”

The couple welcomed their baby girl in May 2024, marking another major milestone for the actor. Reflecting on fatherhood, Jordan said, “It’s crazy how life works. It really makes you see things differently.”

On the work front, Jordan is busy filming new episodes of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which fans can catch on CBS.
