MP Police books 2 Netflix executives over ‘kissing scene’ in the temple

Madhya Pradesh police has filed an FIR against Monika Shergill, who is the Content Vice President of Netflix India and Ambika Khurana who is the Director of Public Policies at Netflix. The FIR is a reaction to the outrage caused by the kissing scene between a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy in ‘A Suitable Boy’, which was filmed inside a temple while an aarti was going on in the background.

This scene has caused people to start a trend called #BoycottNetflix since it goes against the Hindu religion.
