Actor Naga Chaitanya and actress Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to get married on December 4 at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The couple, who got engaged in August after dating for nearly one and a half years, recently began their pre-wedding festivities with traditional ceremonies.
On Friday, a video collage of their Mangala Snanam (haldi ceremony) surfaced on X (formerly Twitter). Dressed in traditional outfits, Sobhita wore a red saree with matching jewelry, while Chaitanya donned a white kurta and pyjama. The couple was seen smiling as family members showered them with flowers. In another clip shared by Lakshmi Bhavani, Sobhita was seen participating in rituals, including sitting inside a vessel as family members poured water and flowers over her.
Sobhita also shared glimpses from her Pasupu Danchadam ceremony on Instagram, marking the official start of the wedding festivities. The traditional Telugu ritual involves crushing turmeric and seeking blessings from elders.
The couple’s wedding invitation reflects South Indian elegance with symbols like temple bells and brass lamps. It reads,”We are delighted to announce the wedding of Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya. Your good wishes and blessings are much appreciated on this special occasion.”
Nagarjuna Akkineni, Chaitanya’s father, expressed joy over the union, calling it “a beginning of infinite love.” Fans eagerly await the star-studded celebration, which promises to be a grand affair.
