In a significant development regarding the N-Convention Centre case, a complaint has been lodged against renowned actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, alleging financial misconduct associated with the venue in Hyderabad.
Reports indicate that the NGO Janam Kosam, led by Bhaskara Reddy, filed the complaint at the Madhapur police station on Saturday. Reddy asserted that Nagarjuna has profited improperly from the N-Convention Centre and demanded the immediate recovery of funds to be returned to the government.
Circle Inspector Mohan stated that inquiries would be conducted after seeking legal advice, noting that a case has not yet been registered.
This allegation follows the recent demolition of Nagarjuna’s N-Convention Centre. Back in August, the actor defended himself via his X handle, asserting that the demolition occurred “wrongfully” and that no encroachment took place. Nagarjuna emphasized that the land is Patta land and insisted that a stay order had been issued against any previous illegal demolition notices.
He concluded that appropriate relief would be sought from the court concerning the alleged wrongful actions of the authorities. The demolition was overseen by officials from the Hyderabad Disaster Management and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), who justified the action by stating that the land fell within the Full Tank Level (FTL) zone.
On the professional front, Nagarjuna is preparing for the release of his upcoming film “Kubera,” which will feature Rashmika Mandanna and Dhanush in lead roles.
