Bollywood actor Nargis Fakhri surprised fans when she arrived at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, not just for the Visit Qatar event, but alongside her husband Tony Beig. This was the couple’s first official appearance after their secret wedding in California, and the red carpet moment quickly became a talking point online.
In a video that went viral, Nargis was seen posing with Tony and filmmaker Farah Khan. As Tony stepped forward, Farah quipped, “Come stand with your wife,” which drew smiles from those around. Fans couldn’t stop gushing about the duo, calling them a “cute couple.”
For the evening, Nargis opted for a wine-coloured lehenga choli by designer Mahima Mahajan, styled with gold bangles and a matching necklace. Tony complemented her look in an all-black outfit, while Farah also chose black with a colourful embroidered blazer. Other celebrities present at the event included Anil Kapoor, Chunky Panday and Dhvani Bhanushali.
Reports suggest that Nargis tied the knot with US-based entrepreneur Tony Beig in February this year after dating for nearly three years. The couple welcomed 2024 together in Dubai, where Nargis’ ex-boyfriend Uday Chopra was also present. Wedding pictures later surfaced on Reddit, including one of a cake decorated with “Happy Marriage” and the couple’s initials, TB and NF.
