Colombian actress Natalia Reyes, who is known for her role Dani Ramos in the movie Terminator: Dark Fate, will be leading the post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller movie titled ‘Tomorrow Before After. The movie will be helmed by writer and director Alfonso Quijada of the El Suspiro del Silencio fame.
The Columbian actress is well-known for her work in the crime drama Birds of Passage, which is directed by Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerra, which had premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. She is also known for her performances in Sony’s popular Latin American series titled Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas, where she had portrayed the role of Lady Tabares.
The plot of the film focuses on a woman with no name, who will be played by Reyes, who is struggling to survive on her own in a post-apocalyptic world and is searching for others with only a stray dog by her side for company. In the quest to find humans, she collides with a world that has been collapsed and utterly destroyed, and it will seem as if she is the lone survivor in her world, until one day when she discovers that she is pregnant – leading her to question her own existence after not understanding how this could have been possible.
The movie will be produced by Chad Barager, through Apollo Pictures, and Ian Ihnatowycz, through First Generation Capital; who have previously produced projects like Bitter Harvest and The Inheritance. They will be joined by Diego Ramirez of the Colombian production house 64-A Films. According to several reports, the movie is scheduled to begin production later this month.
