The National Cow Commission has suggested using cow-dung CNG for “cheap and made in India energy” as an alternative to the petrol and diesel.
The statement has come at a time when fuel prices have shot up since last November. They specifically are referring to cow-dung bass compressed Natural Gas. They uploaded the suggestion for those who plan to appear for National ‘cow science exam’ on 25th February on their website. It is a part of their initiative to promote ‘cow entrepreneurship’. They said on the website, “The cow entrepreneurship concept got discussed in many of RKA’s (Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog or National Cow Commission) webinars. Many entrepreneurs across the globe have started exploring these evergreen possibilities utilising new-age technology with age-old wisdom.”
They also reminded that biogas has been used as fuel for a long time. They also ideated about ‘semen banks’ for bulls and claimed cow rearers and entrepreneurs are willing to pay a good price.
