Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai police on June 8 has arrested a 32-year-old man from Malad area, Mumbai, who is accused of raping around 12 women through matrimonial site. After the consistent efforts of cops in finding him since 4 months, the accused is identified as Mahesh alias Karan Gupta.
WHO IS MAHESH ALIAS KARAN GUPTA AND WHAT DOES HE DO
Gupta is a Mechanical Engineer. He has very fine knowledge of computers and has worked as a hacker some time ago.
It is shocking to highlight how Gupta has a record of working with reputed companies but still lands upon a sexual assault case.
However, reports claim that Gupta uses matrimonial sites to find his preys.
According to India Today reports, Gupta has many fake profiles on matrimonial sites, where he contacts lure and highly educated women. After getting in touch he would get their phone numbers, and convince them out for a pub, bar or restaurant.
During these meeting he used to sexually assault women. Not only this but there’s more to how Gupta used to plan and plot everything.

From using different numbers for every crime, to using different numbers for even booking Ola or Uber. He would change his SIM every time for different activities and would never use a SIM registered on his name.
According to reports, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Suresh Mengade can be heard quoting, “He has a good knowledge of computers but used it in a wrong way.”
