Neeraj Chopra thinks Amitabh Bachchan will be perfect for Arshad Nadeem’s biopic

India’s Neeraj Chopra and Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem are powerful javelin rivals, but they have a strong friendship off the pitch. The two players have a great deal of admiration and affection for each other, which is unaltered by the result of the events in which they participate together. Arshad won gold in the javelin throw at the just ended Paris Olympics 2024, while Neeraj took silver.

Neeraj, who won an Olympic silver medal at the Paris Olympics, admitted he couldn’t push himself to his limits. Chopra failed to retain his gold medal during the men’s javelin game at the marquee event, finishing second with his personal best performance of 89.45 metres. Neeraj also announced his next competition: the Lausanne Diamond League, that officially starts on August 22, 2024.

An interview with the two during the medal ceremony is going popular on social media. In the video, an anchor from the host network asks Neeraj who he would want to assume the role of Arshad if a biopic is done. The Indian athlete chose Amitabh Bachchan.

Neeraj quoted, “You should look for a hero with height because Arshad has good height. In India, a young Amitabh Bachchan could have played the role.” While Arshad replied, “You can use Shah Rukh Khan,” when asked about Neeraj’s biopic.
