Negative publicity: India Idol 12 judges get trolled for being “overdramatic”

India Idol is amongst the longest run reality shows on television. The latest season, India Idol 12 is been judged by Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya. Lately, the show has been attracting negative publicity because fans claim the that judges are being “overdramatic” and praising all the contestants equally irrespective of their calibers. The show sees a weekly elimination and fans are greatly disheartened to see better contestants leave the show, whilst the average ones are still in the competition.

Fans and netizens have expressed their dissent with certain contestants like, Shanmukhapriya and Danish, sharing memes about them being “over-loud”.

One tweet read, “Indian idol is the only show in the world where the contestants are permanent and the judges keep changing. It’s a new Sooryawansham for Sony.”

Another one read, “”I was so bored lmao… Now I’ve been following this Indian Idol drama and that’s the most fun I’ve had in days.”

A third hilarious one was directed at the judges stating, “”My younger brother is like jo bhi glycerin banata h should be asked how much of it is used in Indian Idol and I can’t (whoever makes glycerin must be supplying a hell load of it to Indian Idol)

Other memes included some hilarious scenes from movies like “Hera Pheri” and television shows like “Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.”
