Udit Narayan recently came under limelight when his video of him kissing a female admirer went viral on social media. He is shown kissing several fans in a new video that has surfaced online, and the internet is not impressed.
A X (formerly Twitter) user posted video on Wednesday showing fans excitedly congregating around Narayan for selfies following his performance. The artist is seen interacting with fans while wearing a blue fancy dress and kissing a number of female followers. He even gives a woman a kiss on the lips at one point. But the fan was spotted responding with laughter. People on social media responded to the video right away.
One comment read, “He is unstoppable.” A second observed how Narayan ignored a male fan who was asking for a selfie, stating, “One man was asking for a selfie, and he didn’t care.” Another comment joked, “Kissing selfies are the new trend,” while another remarked, “He is going crazy.”
Narayan has already come under fire for similar actions. Earlier, a video of him kissing female fans back while singing Mohra’s hit song Tip Tip Barsa Paani went viral, dividing viewers. “In my 46 years in Bollywood, my image has never been such that I forcefully kiss fans,” Narayan stated in response to the controversy in an interview with HT City.
“When I realise how much love my followers give me, I actually fold my hands in thankfulness. I bow down on stage because I believe that this moment might not happen again.”
