New Lok Sabha chamber to have seating capacity for 888 members

In the new Parliament building, the proposed Lok Sabha hall expects an increase in the number of MPs in future as it plans to have spacious seating arrangements for 888 members, while Rajya Sabha will have 384 seats in place of the current capacity of 245, The Hindu reported. The new Parliament building is expected to be completed in nearly two years from the start of construction work.
