The government of Gujarat has extended the night curfew in four of its metro cities that is, Ahmedabad Rajkot, Vadodara, and Surat till the end of this month.
The previous night curfew notice for the mentioned cities was supposed to end today and now a fresh notice has been issued.
Pankaj Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of State Home Department said that night curfew from 12 AM to 6 AM would be imposed in Gujarat’s metro cities from February 16 to February 28.
The decision comes with the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in Gujarat.
