Noted Malayalam writer Paul Zacharia selected for Kerala’s highest literary honour

Famous Malayalam writer Paul Zacharia has been chosen for the 28th Ezhuthachan Puraskaram, the Kerala government’s highest literary honour. He earned recognition for his body of literary works composed of short stories, travelogues, screenplays, essays as well as columns. Born in 1945, the 75-year-old writer had also worked as a journalist with numerous media organisations. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and a plaque and a citation.
