Nothing Phone 2(a) set to launch today; Here’s everything you need to know

Following a series of leaks and speculations, Nothing is preparing to launch its low-cost phone, the Nothing Phone 2(a). The Nothing Phone 2(a) will likely target the mid-range category because of its appealing appearance and powerful combination of features. According to a recent video given by CEO Carl Pei, the Nothing Phone (2a) in India is expected to cost approximately Rs 25,000. This makes it cheaper than the previous model, the Phone (1), which was introduced in 2022 for Rs 32,999.

The Nothing Phone 2(a) could have a big 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, resulting in crisp visual and  smooth transitions. The screen is expected to include a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and symmetrical bezels to provide a rich viewing experience.

The Nothing Phone 2(a) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, which ensures efficient performance and seamless multitasking. It will operate on the most recent Android 14-based NothingOS 2.5, giving users a clean and easy interface.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is reported to have two cameras on the rear, featuring a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, resulting in amazing photographs in different lighting settings. There might also be a 32MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies and video chats.
