On Feb 24, 2021 at 10:29 AM it was reported that trading has stopped on NSE Index due to some technical glitches which has halted its cash market and futures market. Market was said to open at 1 PM (Pre-opening) and from 1:15 normal trading will begin. After all that was needed to done NSE announced that all pending orders will be automatically cancelled when markets re-open for both EQ & FO segment.
Whereas BSE continues normal trading in all its segments. Currently benchmark Nifty 50 is not updating and the index is currently frozen at 14,820.45-level up 112.65 points or 0.77 percent.
