NYSE commences the process of delisting three Chinese telecom companies

The NYSE is starting the process of delisting securities of three Chinese telecom companies; China Telecom Corporation Limited , China Mobile Limited and China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited after Donald Trump last month barred US investments in Chinese firms. NYSE said that it would suspend trading in the stocks on either January 7 or January 11. The Pentagon has so far designated 35 companies, including oil company CNOOC Ltd and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp from China. China has condemned this ban.
