Offset has returned to the spotlight two days after Cardi B attempted to cover up her cheating rumours. A few days ago, the internet speculated that their entire cheating feud may have been a PR act. Cardi B, on the other hand, stated that nothing between her and Offset was ever staged. Offset now claims that he was drunk on tequila the night he tweeted about his spouse cheating on him.
This week, the Clout rapper recorded her famous Way Up with Yee podcast with Angela Yee. This was in streak with the numerous appearances and interviews that the couple has been giving for their new single Jealousy. The rapper ultimately made the decision to reveal what happened on June 23, 2013, after he was questioned about his tweets from that day.
The Georgia native said “That’s my wife. I love her to death.” Their relationship, however, was going through a tough period. Offset was especially angry by Cardi’s comments on the day of the tweets. As a New Yorker, he described her as a ‘pitbull at the mouth.’ After a couple of rounds of Casamigos Tequila, he took to Twitter and accused her of cheating on him.
The rapper went on to say that his tweets were blown out of proportion. Soon after, fans began bringing up events from his past. “To be honest, I hate the fact that every time she has an issue with somebody else, they bring me up and my past up. My past is covering up everything I did. All this time I ain’t did nothing,” he told Yee in the sit-down.
The Migos rapper confirmed that things are well between the two despite all the dirt the couple continues to throw at one another.
