On 20 April, 1994, Pakistani cricketer Aamer Sohail and Inzaman-ul- Haq formed a 263 run stand in ODI cricket.
The Pakistan duo created the record of highest partnership in 50-over cricket.
It was a second semi-final match of Austral-Asia Cup where Pakistan and New Zealand faced each other. The toss was won by New Zealand who choose to bowl first. The Pakistan openers Saeed Anwar and Aamer Sohail put on 57 runs for first wicket after which Saeed Anwar went back to the pavilion.
It was then Inzamam-ul-Haq came to bat and scored a 263- run stand with Sohail and registered a total of 328/2.
It’s an great achievement for Pakistan cricket which is not very well appreciated in the world.
