One Punch Man season 3: Everything we know so far

One Punch Man Season 3 is eagerly awaited by fans, promising more of Saitama’s actions. Though there isn’t an official release date, clues point to a possible mid-2024 return. Here’s what you can anticipate from the upcoming season.

One Punch Man Season 3 expected plot

To the joy of fans, One Punch Man Season 3 was confirmed in August 2022, along with a teaser from character designer Chikashi Kubota. However, the production studio and official release date are still unclear.

Even if the precise plot details are kept under strict secrecy, one can make an educated guess. The first 85 chapters of the manga, or 16 volumes, were covered in the first two seasons. Thus, the plot should resume after Season 2, when Saitama defeats Elder Centipede and Garou is taken captive, exploring the manga’s Monster Association arc in greater detail.

As the S-Class heroes face the Monster Association in Season 3, the heroes will come under a greater spotlight. The highest-ranking hero, Blast, will be introduced during this arc, along with his quest to get mysterious cubes so he may communicate with “God.”

One Punch Man Season 3 expected release date

An official release date for One Punch Man Season 3 has not yet been confirmed as of February 2024. Voice actor hints and previous release patterns suggest a possible return this year.
