OPPO, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled the Find X8 series in its own country. OPPO has announced that the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will be available in worldwide markets shortly.
The OPPO Find X8 series is powered by MediaTek’s newest Dimensity 9400 processor and has a camera system co-engineered with Swedish optics firm Hasselblad. OPPO has announced that the new ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 would be released globally alongside the OPPO Find X8 series. The new user interface for OPPO smartphones has already been demonstrated in China.
Features of the OPPO Find X8 series
The OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and can be configured with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. However, the Pro model has a larger display and battery. The OPPO Find X8 Pro also has a 50MP quad-camera configuration on the back, with an additional 50MP telephoto camera capable of up to 6x zoom. In contrast, the basic model has a triple-camera configuration that includes the same main, ultra-wide, and portrait cameras as the Pro model. Additionally, OPPO has released a new “Mag” wireless charging attachment for smartphones that provides up to 50W of magnetic wireless charging similar to Apple MagSafe.
