In November, the Oppo Reno 13 series was introduced in China. There were two versions in the lineup: the base and the Reno 13 Pro. It is now verified that the phones will reach India.
The company has unveiled its designs and colour choices and hinted at the lineup’s impending arrival in India. The availability details of the cellphones have been announced as well. It is anticipated that the Indian and Chinese versions of the Reno 13 series will be comparable.
It is anticipated that the phones would replace the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G and Reno 12 5G, which were released in the nation in July. A Flipkart microsite indicates that the upcoming phones will be available for purchase in the country via the Walmart-backed e-commerce site alongside the Oppo India e-store.
According to the official listings of the Oppo Reno 13 series phones, they will be offered in two RAM and storage configurations each: the base version will be available in an Ivory White shade and an India-exclusive Luminous Blue colourway, while the Pro variant will come in Graphite Grey and Mist Lavender colour options.
Oppo confirmed in an X post that the Oppo Reno 13 5G series will launch in India soon; the precise launch date will be announced soon. According to a press statement from the company, the Oppo Reno 13’s Ivory White and Luminous Blue models will have profiles that are 7.24 and 7.29 mm, respectively.
The weight of both varieties will be 181g. In the meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro will weigh 195g and have a thickness of 7.55mm in all colour variants. There will be “an aerospace-grade aluminium frame” on both phones.
Corning Gorilla Glass 7i display protection, OLED screens, and one-piece sculpted glass back panels are features shared by the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro. The base model has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4 percent and a narrow 1.81mm bezel. The Pro model will have a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent and a 1.62mm bezel.
It is anticipated that additional information, including the precise launch date of the Oppo Reno 13 5G series phones in India, will be made public shortly. The phones in China run on MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipsets and come pre-installed with ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15.
The IP69 grade protects both phones from water and dust intrusion. The Oppo Reno 13 Pro adds a third 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, while the base model includes a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit in addition to 50-megapixel selfie shooters.
A 6.59-inch full-HD+ screen and a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless compatibility are features of the vanilla version. The Pro model has a 5,800mAh battery and a slightly larger 6.83-inch display.
