Influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, became the centre of attention on Wednesday as he reached the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) office in Mumbai for questioning in the ongoing ₹252-crore drugs case. The social media personality had earlier asked for more time to appear before officials but eventually presented himself to the crime branch amid intense media glare.
Orry’s arrival created chaos outside the ANC office, with a large crowd gathering as soon as he stepped out of his vehicle. Multiple videos circulating online show the influencer being surrounded by paparazzi and onlookers, all trying to capture a glimpse of him. Cameras and microphones were pushed toward him as he made his way through the packed lane, choosing not to pose or respond to any questions. Dressed in a brown patterned shirt and glasses, he was closely escorted while navigating through the mob.
The investigation gained momentum this week, as actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor also appeared before the Anti-Narcotics Cell on Tuesday. Both were summoned after alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh recently deported from Dubai and believed to have links to the Dawood Ibrahim network claimed during interrogation that he had hosted lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai attended by several well-known personalities.
According to officers quoted by the Hindustan Times, the list of attendees allegedly included Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, politician Zeeshan Siddique and Orry. The probe continues as officials examine the statements and links emerging from the high-profile case.
