Suzuki Motors has announced that their chairman, 91-year-old Osamu Suzuki is retiring in June.
The company in a statement said, “The corporate management toward 2030 and 2050 was defined. Therefore, with the expiration of the current term of office, Suzuki will retire.” He will now serve as a senior adviser. Suzuki has led the company for more than 40 years. Suzuki was known as someone tough as well as someone who knew exactly what he wanted.
He also focused on high-quality manufacturing material for the motors.
