Over ₹1.11 lakh crore in M-cap added by six of the top firms

With Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys leading the gainer’s chart, the previous week, 6 of the 10 most valued companies added ₹1,11,220.5 crores to their total market valuation. While gains in the market valuation were seen by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys HDFC, ICICI Bank along with the State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bajaj Finance witnessed a decline in their market capitalization.

Being the most among the top 10 firms, the market capitalization zoomed ₹30,961.06 crores to ₹12,50,538.30 crore of the Tata Consultancy Services, while an amount of ₹29,807.59 crores was added by Infosys to its valuation which stood at ₹6,70,915.93 crore the previous week.

HDFC Bank’s market valuation stood at ₹8,36,426.69 crore after adding a jump of ₹19,838.88 crores. With a jump by ₹14,234.76 crores, the market valuation of the State Bank of India came to ₹3,82,642.72 crores.

The valuation of ICICI Bank rose by ₹12,775.99 crores to ₹4,49,166.77 crores. Coming to ₹4,52,778.40 crores the valuation of HDFC rose by ₹3,602.22 crores.

On the other hand, coming to ₹13,34,009.02 crores, the market capitalisation of Reliance Industries’ declined by ₹76,548.77 crores along with Hindustan Unilever Limited’s market capitalisation declined by ₹7,424.7 crores to ₹5,75,449.55 crore while the market capitalisation of Kotak Mahindra Bank declined by ₹5,084.82 crores to ₹3,43,934.41 crores.
