Paani Paani song out: Jacqueline Fernandez grooves in Badshah, Aastha Gill’s latest track

Last year, Jacqueline and Badshah created a jinx with their song ‘Genda Phool’ which became the fourth most-watched video on YouTube across the world.

The vibrant trio Badshah, Jacqueline Fernandez and Aastha Gill, who have worked together for many chartbusters, is back again with their latest music video, ‘Paani Paani’.

The Saregama original track which released today has a scorcher of a music video set in the beautifully rustic city of Jaisalmer, emphasizing some crackling chemistry between Jacqueline and Badshah. The peppy track has been written and composed by Badshah and sung by both Badshah and Aastha Gill.

Badshah has constantly experimented with new sounds and celebrating the varied landscape of India and its deep-rooted folk cultures and dances which face the fear of being forgotten from popular culture.

In the music video, Fernandez has about three to four outfit changes and it goes without saying that she looks stunning in all of them. In Paani Paani, Badshah has integrated the musical romance of Rajasthani Rawanhatta and the Kalbeliya Folk Dance.

Talking about the song, Badshah wrote on social media, “We have worked really really hard for this. I have always made sure that I give the best to my audience and to the fans. Do something different from what I have done before and take it to the next level. It’s amazing how an idea transforms into a song. It wouldn’t have been possible without everyone working so hard towards that one single aim. Thank you @jacquelinef143 for being a slayer every time. Probably the hardest working and the most no nonsense woman I have ever come across. You automatically take things to a different league. I think we have a perfect follow up to Genda Phool, the biggest song of last year to the biggest song of this year.”

The song is streaming on Saregama Music’s YouTube channel.
