The second T20I match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe was played today on the Harare Cricket Ground. Zimbabwe sealed the match and registered first ever win against Pakistan in the shortest format.
The toss was won by Pakistan skipper Babar Azam who opted to bowl first. The team was successfully restricted man in red at 118/9 and looked set for an easy win.
The skipper Babar Azam scored 41 off 45 balls and Danish Aziz hit 22 off 24 balls but got run-out. However visitors soon collapsed and could manage to score only 99 runs in 19.5 overs and lost the match by 19 runs.
The triggering players for Zimbabwe were Luke Jongwe, who claimed a four-wicket haul and Ryan Burl took two wickets.
In this way Zimbabwe experienced there first tenacious win against the Pakistan in the T20I format.
