Pakistan batsman Babar Azam feels proud when he is compared with Indian skipper Virat Kohli

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam says that he feels proud when the fans compare him with Virat Kohli when it comes to the batting styles of both the best batsman. Babar has geared up to the ranks in international cricket to emerge as one of the top batsmen in the world along with the fab four such as Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith and Joe Root.

As the Pakistan skipper doesn’t like being compared with anyone else, he said that he does feel good when his name is taken along with Kohli’s name. He further told Khajeer Times that Virat Kohli is one of the best players in the world. He had performed in big matches and everywhere. When the people compare him with Kohli, he does not feel pressured, he feels proud because the fans compare him with such a big player (Virat Kohli).

Azam added that he personally does not think there should be a comparison, but the fans do that and he feels happy. So his aim is to perform the way he does and help his team win matches and make his country proud. They both are different players and he has his style of playing and Kohli has his. So Azam tries to perform to the best of his ability.
