Parasakthi box office: Sivakarthikeyan–Ravi Mohan starrer sees 35% drop on second tuesday, grosses ₹57 crore in 11 days

On its second Tuesday, Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, grossed Rs. 65 lakh. The film had a 35% decline over Monday. It has fallen below the Rs. 1 crore level for the first time. Parasakthi’s downward trajectory shows that the film’s theatrical run is nearing an end. The Sudha Kongara-directed film has grossed Rs. 57.35 crore in India after 11 days of release. Though the film outperformed Vaa Vaathiyaar, it remained disappointed due to increased expectations.

Parasakthi did best in Tamil Nadu, earning Rs. 51.25 crore. The film grossed Rs. 4.10 crore in Karnataka, while the rest of India contributed roughly Rs. 2 crore. The film also found an audience in international countries, where it earned approximately Rs. 22.20 crore, bringing the total box office revenue to Rs. 79.55 crore.

The mixed word-of-mouth surrounding the Sudha Kongara-directed film is one of the primary reasons for its box-office failure. Things may have turned out differently if the film had gotten a great reception. Nonetheless, the film is likely to gross a respectable sum by the end of its theatrical run. Ravi Mohan plays the antagonist in the film Parasakthi.
