Parineeti Chopra is “sick and tired” of negative comments ahead of new film

Parineeti Chopra in the Bollywood Hungama interview about her new film, ‘Sandeep and Pinky Farar’ revealed about negative comments.

Parineeti Chopra’s new release, Sandeep and Pinky Farar gained immense popularity among the audience. This black-comedy movie is directed by Dilbakar Banerjee and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Parineeti and co-star Arjun Kapoor had another blockbuster after Ishaqzaade. Parineeti Chopra started in Bollywood with her dubbed movie Ishaqzaade opposite Arjun Kapoor which won many awards.

Sandeep and Pinky Farar were initially launched in the cinema halls but got suspended due to the 2nd wave of Covid-19. The movie has been applauded by both critics and audiences.

In the recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti shared her view on working with director Dilbakar Banerjee and also how she felt when the audience questioned her acting skills after every release of her movies. She even said that she was ‘sick’ of hearing negative comments on her flops and people blaming her acting skills for it. She even added that she was away from the industry because she wanted to play the roles that can do justice with her skills.

When she was asked how important it is for her to play a role that portrays both vulnerabilities of a woman and strength at the same time to which she responded, “I heard gender inequality for the first time when I entered Bombay and oh! Also, that women are paid differently. I was not grown up in the surrounding of gender inequality. I have two brothers but, I always had more opportunities than them. Even when in my off-screen life someone says you are a girl you can’t do it, I immediately correct them and try to change their thinking.”
