Paytm Payments Bank is likely to introduce co-branded cards and is in talks with Bank of Baroda, IndusInd Bank, SBI card and Standard Chartered Bank. The target is to issue co-branded cards to 17 million small merchants through Paytm, sources stated to The Economic Times. Their aim is expanding the Fintech company to a full fledged financial service company. This deal would make co-branded cards available to merchants via app, similar to Paytm’s previous deals with SBI card and CitiBank.
