The Coronavirus vaccine developed by India, Covaxin has begun it’s phase 3 trials at AIIMS in New Delhi today. It is the first indigenously developed vaccine which will stop Coronavirus. Dr. M V Padma Srivastava is the Chief of the Neurosciences Centre at the institute. He along with three other volunteers are going to receive the first dose in 0.5 ml and will be observed for the next few days, after which it will be given to 15,000 volunteers.
