The Indian Piramal group has bid the highest among Adani and Oaktree to buy the bankrupt Dewan Housing Finance (DHFL) for Rs. 35,500 crore. Oaktree has set their bid to Rs. 34,000 crore after raising 10% and Adani has offered Rs. 33,000 crore to buy DHFL. If the transaction goes through, Piramal will become the dominant player in the Indian real estate market.
