PM Modi Attends Screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report,’ Applauds Filmmakers

The screening, which featured the Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra-starrer, was a significant event, drawing attention to the film’s impact.

After watching the movie, PM Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts, praising the filmmakers for their work. He wrote, “Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report.’ I commend the makers of the film for their effort.” Modi’s tweet highlighted his appreciation for the movie and its creators, underlining the government’s recognition of the film’s cultural contribution.

The screening was an unforgettable moment for the film’s lead actor, Vikrant Massey, who expressed his joy at experiencing the film with the Prime Minister. Speaking to ANI, Vikrant shared that it was an overwhelming experience to watch the film in such distinguished company and described it as a career high. He also urged audiences to watch the movie in theaters.

The Sabarmati Report, directed by Dheeraj Sarna, was released in theaters on November 15 and has grossed ₹35.56 crore. The film has been declared tax-free in multiple states, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh, further cementing its success.
