On sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Har Ghar Nal Yojna’ under the Jal Jeevan Mission worth Rs. 5,555.38 crore in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra and Mirzapur districts. The scheme will ensure water supply in 2,995 villages to over 41 lakh villagers through pipelines in these two districts. The PM added that the government is empowering the villages by making them self reliant as they give the strength to self reliant India.
