Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsanora is the second-ranking leader, with 6.4 million subscribers, merely a fraction of Modi’s.
The Ukraine President is the third most-subscribed channel among global leaders, with 1.1 million subscribers. While fourth on the list, United States President Joe Biden has only 794,000 subscribers on his YouTube account.
Furthermore, Modi’s channel continues to lead in terms of views, with an amazing 2.24 billion views in December 2023. This statistic is 43 times higher than Zelenskyy’s, which has the world’s second-highest number of views. Modi’s YouTube success indicates his digital prowess and extensive global appeal.
Modi’s channel surpasses the competition with 4.5 billion (450 crore) video views, setting the benchmark for political leaders on YouTube. This milestone shows his global popularity, which has been constantly highlighted in various surveys, including Morning Consult, where he has been frequently regarded as the most famous global leader with an approval rating of more than 75%.
Other global leaders with the most YouTube subscribers are Reccep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, who has 419,000 subscribers, Emmanuel Macron of France, who has 316,000 subscribers, Alberto Fernández of Argentina, who has 81,200 subscribers and Justine Trudeau of Canada, who has 69,600 subscribers.
