Power Finance Corporation raises $500 million via bonds

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has raised USD 500 million or Rs 3,651 crore via issuance of bonds under its USD 5 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme, it said on Friday.

“PFC launched issuance of $500,000,000 3.35 percent notes due 2031 under the $5,000,000,000 Global Medium Term Note Programme,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

The notes priced on 21 January carry a coupon of 3.35% per annum payable in arrear on each Interest Payment Date. The date of settlement for the same is expected to be January 29, 2021. The notes will mature on May 16, 2031, unless previously redeemed. The principal amount and interest will be paid in U.S. Dollars.

The Notes will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading, India INX, and NSE IFSC.
