Putting an end to recent rumors, the makers of The Raja Saab have confirmed that the Prabhas-starrer is not getting postponed. The much-awaited horror entertainer will hit theatres worldwide on January 9, 2026, exactly as previously announced. The clarification came on November 4, after false claims of a delay began circulating online.
In an official note, the production team stated, “The news that The Raja Saab’s release has been postponed is completely untrue. The film’s release date will remain unchanged.” The update has brought relief to fans who were concerned due to Prabhas’ packed schedule and the scale of the film’s post-production work.
According to the makers, VFX and sound design are in their final stages, with the first print expected to be ready by December 25. The team is preparing for a major multilingual release, along with a grand pre-release event in the United States this December as part of the film’s global promotional strategy.
Directed by Maruthi, the film marks Prabhas’ first major entry into the horror genre. The recently released trailer, featuring trance-like visuals and eerie supernatural sequences, has already created strong buzz.
